The game features Disgaea heroes and villains from throughout the series gathering together. Their aim is beating down everyone else to claim the title of ultimate overlord.
As expected from a mobile RPG spinoff, Disgaea RPG is a gacha game. ForwardWorks hasn’t explained the hows wherefores of the system so far, but the game’s site does show how the combat works.
In place of Disgaea’s usual grid-based tactics gameplay, Disgaea RPG lines up enemies and foes in three for them to duke it out, similar to a traditional RPG.
Disgaea RPG will feature several gameplay modes, though those haven’t been named yet either. But best of all dood, Prinnies still explode. Check out the announcement trailer on the Disgaea RPG website.
